Work Schedule

9:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday – Friday. Flexible hours consistent with departmental needs.

Pay Rate $10 - $15 per hour
Minimum Experience/Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience.
  • Applicants must have experience in hand sewing and machine sewing as well as a knowledge of costume construction methods.
Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:

Preference will go towards applicants that have some experience in patterning, costume crafts, and dye work.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for costume construction for all performing arts departments within the College of Arts and Architecture.
  • Advanced sewing and tailoring skills are essential.
  • Work will be performed independently, with general instruction.
  • It is expected that employees contribute to the educational goals of the college, as they will interact with students on a regular basis.
