Pay Rate 11.05 per hour
Minimum Experience/Education

Some knowledge of cleaning procedures.

Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. Some knowledge of cleaning procedures, ability to follow instructions and to perform medium to heavy physical work; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include the cleaning of residence halls and student apartments, vacuuming carpets, sweeping and mopping, dusting, waste removal, floor care and the cleaning of refrigerators and stoves. Provide stocking, cleaning and sanitizing of public restrooms. Performing strenuous manual labor such as operating heavy cleaning equipment and moving of furniture is part of this position.

This position will also remove trash from trash rooms and public restrooms in the residence halls, during the weekends.

Physical activities include stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions and visual acuity.
