We provide highly reliable information technology infrastructure, tools and services to empower the University to achieve its academic, research, administrative and service goals.

Primary Purpose of Position

To support Identity Management functions within the Identity Services team.

Summary of Position Responsibilities

Supporting the provisioning and management of accounts, identity information across multiple systems at an enterprise level. The major systems include Ellucian’s Banner ERP, Active Directory, Google Apps/Mail, Oracle databases, Drop Box, Duo, and Shibboleth. The support includes working with a team to provide automation solutions to provision accounts in multiple systems, support existing automation processes, troubleshoot issues, and provide account and service administration of select systems.
Support DUO Security, which includes provisioning FOBs and 3rd tier support.
Google Administration- GCal Room Resources, Gmail Generic Accounts and Groups, GDrive File Ownership, and general G-Suite 3rd tier support.

Research and Development of new systems and technology that support automation and provisioning of accounts and identity information.

Minimum Education/Experience

Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Linux Administration (e.g. creating accounts, managing local firewall, managing services)
Provisioning Active Directory, Google Apps/Mail, Oracle databases, other LDAP compliant directory servers (e.g. Red Hat Directory Server or OpenDJ)

ForgeRock’s OpenIDM or similar identity management tools


Java programming experience

Ansible, Chef, or Puppet deployment tools

Jenkins, Atlassian Bamboo, or other automation tools.

ELK, Splunk or other log aggregation and analysis tools.

Monitoring tools like Zabbix or JMX.

Experience administering cloud services like Google and DropBox.

Working knowledge of Active Directory
