Minimum Experience/Education

Masters Degree in Bioinformatics

Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:

Knowledge of Genetics, DNA sequencing technologies, GENBANK, MVC applications

Duties and Responsibilities

To work on collaborative projects in pathogen and human genetics.
This will include reading and summarizing current efforts such that we
can go above and beyond the state of the art.

To develop and test web-based applications. This will involve working with
both developers and scientists to implement what is needed in an efficient
and expandable manner.

To write text and prepare figures for reports to match to statements of work, demonstrations, and publications. This will involve rapid development of drafts
and polishing of materials for internal and external clients.

Other Work/Responsibilities

To work with other team members collaboratively to test, check and improve software and use cases.
