Minimum Experience/Education

Must be a currently enrolled UNC Charlotte student.

Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:

We are looking for a student graphic designer to join our Student Union & Activities Marketing team who is passionate about graphic design and enjoys creating marketing materials such as posters, flyers, digital signage, and other creative materials.

In addition to technical design skills, the ideal candidate is organized, creative and willing to learn. S/he can work independently given training and guidance by supervisor. S/he will be expected to maintain a weekly work schedule and complete all hours on site at the Popp Martin Student Union.

Preferred Skills:
- Demonstrated experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Comfortable in Mac environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Design marketing materials, such as posters, flyers, t-shirts, digital signage, and more.

- Develop creative visual solutions for deadline-sensitive projects.

- Assist in the timely delivery of finished design files to campus partners for distribution across campus.

- Assist with management and organization of all Marketing design assets (fonts, vectors, photography, etc.).

- Communicate professionally with members of the Marketing team and campus partners.

- Must be available 4-6 hours per week during the academic year to work in the Popp Martin Student Union

Have a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
