Description of Work

Thus, the Job Responsibilities and Essential Functions for Non-Tenure Track Faculty should be interpreted in the context of the related departmental and collegiate teaching goals.

Teaching – Faculty responsibilities and essential functions with respect to teaching may include but are not limited to: subject matter competence, course design, course presentation, and grading student work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic individual with a PhD in Marketing, or closely related area for a one year visiting faculty position from August 2018 to May 2019. Primary duties will be high-quality teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The successful candidate will also have an acceptable record of publications in academic journals, commensurate with appointment at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor, Visiting Associate Professor, or Visiting Professor.

Teaching load and salary are competitive with similar positions at other research universities. All applications will be considered strictly confidential. Minimum Experience/Education

UNC Charlotte gives primary consideration to the earned masters and/or terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline.
