Work Schedule

Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00 Am to 5:00 Pm with a varied schedule to be determined during the interview process.

Pay Rate Up to $17.00/hour depending on qualifications, education and experience.
Minimum Experience/Education

High school diploma/GED, and two years of experience in accounting work.

Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:

Two or more years of budgeting/finance experience. This includes: reconciling, data entry of financial transactions. tracking of adhoc budgets, etc.

Ability to present financial data to upper management.

Experience in higher education a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities

Manage departmental state, discretionary and trust funds.

Provide data entry of financial transactions in SAM.

Complete fund reconciliation to Banner. Audit all funds and investigate discrepancies.

Track all student payments, temporary employee stipends, and special payments.

Provide monthly budget meetings with Department Chair and Administrative Assistant.

Create and compile adhoc budget reports at the request of the Chair and/or Business Officer.
